Jegendra Sunda is the visionary Director of Prince Eduhub Group. Born into a middle-class family, Jegendra founded the institute in 1997 with just 35 students. Today, his educational empire boasts over 350,000 students across various domains, including premier coaching for JEE and NEET, top-notch RBSE and CBSE schools, and multiple academies spread over 13 campuses. Being a part of management, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

As the Director of Prince College, I believe in a leadership philosophy centered around empowerment, innovation, and excellence. My leadership style is best described as transformational. I strive to inspire and motivate our faculty and students to reach their highest potential. I encourage a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement. I must lead by example and set high standards for all members of our educational community.

According to you, what makes the education industry the best industry to work in?

The education industry is indeed one of the most rewarding and dynamic fields to work in. What sets it apart is the opportunity to shape the future and contribute to the growth of individuals and society. It allows us to inspire and empower students to become leaders, thinkers, and change-makers. Education also provides a platform for lifelong learning and continuous improvement. The ability to witness the transformation of young minds is what makes the education industry unparalleled.

What do you think should be college's top priority over the next 5 years?

Over the next five years, our college's top priority is to continually enhance the quality of education and ensure that we remain at the forefront of educational excellence. We aim to expand our programs for competitive exam preparation with IAS and RAS coaching programme while maintaining our commitment to academic rigor. Additionally, we will focus on further developing our infrastructure, leveraging technology for efficient learning, and providing ample opportunities for research and practical experience. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students not just for exams but for life, fostering a holistic growth mindset.

My connection with students and faculty is grounded in open communication and mutual respect. I believe in maintaining an open-door policy to listen to their concerns and ideas. Regular interactions, meetings, and feedback sessions are vital in understanding their needs. Balancing expectations is a continuous effort. It's essential to strike a balance between the college's academic and operational goals and the students' aspirations. We aim to meet these expectations by aligning our curriculum with industry needs and providing the support students require. Our faculty is instrumental in bridging this gap by ensuring students receive the best possible education and guidance.

How does the curriculum of your institute train the students to be industry-ready?

Our curriculum is designed to be comprehensive and industry-relevant. It focuses on theoretical knowledge as well as practical applications. We integrate real-world case studies, internships, and industry collaborations to expose students to the practical aspects of their chosen fields. We offer exam-oriented coaching and training to help students excel in competitive exams. Our team provides guidance to students on career paths and opportunities, helping students make informed choices. We offer courses in communication, time management, and stress management to enhance students' overall employability. We conduct mock interviews and group discussions to prepare students for the job selection process.
