You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

I am very passionate about teaching and it is at the forefront because that keeps me connected. I always look for creative ways of teaching. I believe that an engaged class offers plenty of student satisfaction. Joy and happiness are more than anything in the world. An all-round development of students should be brought about and their character has to be shaped morally. It’s all about inspiring and making them more knowledgeable, thoughtful, and innovative. This makes them more responsible towards society. The teaching profession is the only one that provides students an opportunity to bring about these transformative changes.


Being the Vice-Principal, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Leadership is not just about having power but about having growth, collaboration, and advancing a collective vision. As a Vice-Principal, my goal is not just to manage but also to inspire, guide, and create an environment where both teachers and students can thrive. Everyone, whether students or staff, has potential for growth. It is essential to encourage continuous learning, self-reflection, and professional development. By fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and shared responsibility, we can navigate challenges more effectively. Actions often speak louder than words. Modeling the behavior, attitude, and work ethic expected of others is crucial. A transparent environment, where individuals feel safe to express their thoughts and concerns, leads to better decision-making and community trust.


Being the Vice-Principal, how do you strategize about the programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

Before any strategy is formulated, it must be ensured that all plans are consistent with the school’s founding principles. Gather input from teachers, students, parents, and the local community to ensure the strategy meets their needs and expectations. Establish or refine the college’s brand, logo, motto, or slogan to make it more recognizable and attractive. The college’s website must be user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and updated with the latest events, news, and achievements. Organize community events, open houses, workshops, and seminars to engage prospective students and parents. Set measurable KPIs to measure the success of your strategies. For marketing, this could be the number of inquiries, website visits, or increased registrations. For administration, it could be improved student performance, reduced absenteeism, or positive feedback rates.

We create spaces where members can discuss gender, race, religion, and other relevant issues without fear of backlash.
