Ebenezer Group of Institution

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

My passion always lies in teaching and the happiness I receive after educating young minds and interacting with them is the biggest reason for my long association with the education sector. More than imparting knowledge or syllabus we must mould them into socially responsible human beings which is only possible through the education sector.

I strongly believe that being connected with a dynamic and challenging educational world, it's our prime responsibility to enhance students' skills and prepare them for a better future in the best way possible.

Being the Admissions Head of Ebenezer Group of Institutions, what is your philosophy of leadership?

I believe in the philosophy that ‘true leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders’. I think a true leader is someone who knows how to build a team from scratch, empower his/her team members with the required skill set and motivate them to produce the finest quality of work.

Apart from this, a leader should be thoughtful, humble and kind to deal with people of different mindsets and strong and bold enough to make big decisions. A leader shouldn't make his/her team work under him/her, rather he/she should stand with the team and work with them. And more importantly, a leader should always be humble and appreciate the hard work of their colleagues.

Last but not least, a leader should spread love wherever they go because we all know that human beings understand the language of love more easily.

In your experience, what benefits can students gain from studying here in your institute?

The Bangalore city which was earlier known to be the Silicon Valley of India, has now emerged as the Education Hub for foreign nationals to pursue their dream courses. Being located in the same region also gives us an added advantage as our students have the liability of connecting with reputed industries through various kinds of events.

Also, the Degree courses we offer to students are recognized all over the world and give a wealth of knowledge to them to build a thrilling career. Other than this, we regularly organize various kinds of training programs and skill enhancement sessions in collaboration with industry people to provide in-depth knowledge of the latest trends, technologies and developments of the corporate world.

What kinds of opportunities are offered by your institution to students to make them job-ready?

I believe that actions are better than words, hence along with offering the finest quality theoretical knowledge to young and ambitious youths, our college provides them with the best hands-on training sessions to gain practical exposure to various concepts.

Also, from day 1, students are involved in orientation classes where prominent industrialists and excellent academics teach them about various topics and technologies being used by them and also educate students about the people and processes working together on the ground level. Along with this, we equip students with the skills needed to ace interviews and confidently face the challenges of the outside competitive world.

Last but not least, industrial visits are organized every semester and students get tremendous opportunities for projects and paid internships to work with renowned organizations like Wipro, Axis Bank, IBM, Oracle, Aster Manipal Hospital etc. It is regarded as a course of study.

How is your institute more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

I firmly believe that because we are born with nothing, so being a good human matters the most.

Hence to make our finest quality education accessible to everyone, we accept students' applications from all parts of the country and any kind of discrimination or inequality is strictly prohibited on campus. Apart from this, our fee structure is easily affordable for each program, in other terms, students belonging to all economic classes can pursue our courses. Scholarships to academically bright and unprivileged students are also offered by us to support them financially.

When you joined the Ebenezer Group of Institutions, what was your vision for it and how far have you come in implementing these visions?

When I joined the amazing Ebenezer Group of Institutions, my vision was to work for the betterment and growth of my students. To achieve this goal and implement things in a detailed and structured way, I have been putting my 100% since day 1 because we all know that nothing is built in one day, so I believe completing things one by one will finally help us to reach our destination.

What would you like people to know about your institution that makes it unique and different from others?

It would be a bit different if we did our publicity, so anyone who wishes to see the difference between our college and other educational institutions can visit the campus anytime and observe the wonderful kind of ambience, infrastructure and facilities we have developed over time.

Along with this, we have an amazing team of highly educated and extensively experienced faculty members to teach and train students as per corporate standards. So, our education system, infra and teachers make us unique and different from others.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for Ebenezer in general?

In my opinion, the attrition rates in some traditional courses and late result announcements for supplementary or elective programs pose a challenge for us from time to time and also impact our teaching methodologies in some or the other way.

Any piece of advice which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

We all love to live our lives in a comfort zone. So I would like to advise my students to come out of their comfort zone and try new adventures because the quality of your life and future will depend on how much effort you put in today and what choices you make in the present moment. If you are getting ready to win the life game, you should make friends with your enemies. Be conscious, stay disciplined and be dedicated towards your goals.
