Over the past 25 years, Globsyn Business School (GBS) has evolved into a future-focused management institution committed to education that goes beyond education. While academic rigour remains central, GBS has consistently reimagined learning through innovative pedagogy, industry integration, and holistic student development. This approach has enabled its 4000+ alumni to transition into the corporate world as competent professionals and ethical leaders.

A key differentiator of GBS is its emphasis on experiential learning, where theory meets real-world application. At the heart of this philosophy stands Serendipity, a flagship vertical of Beyond Education. Conceptualised as a large-scale, multi-day ‘live project,’ Serendipity places students in charge of planning, execution, governance, and delivery across functions such as finance, marketing, operations, HR, logistics, and stakeholder management. The experience mirrors real organisational ecosystems, enabling students to discover leadership abilities, resilience, and clarity of purpose through hands-on challenges.

As GBS marked its 25 Years’ Legacy in Postgraduate Management Education, Serendipity 2026 emerged as a defining celebration of the institution’s vision. Reflecting on its impact, Mr. Bikram Dasgupta, Founder & Chairman, Globsyn Group, described Serendipity as the lifeblood of experiential management education and a transformative innovation that continues to shape future leaders. Speaking on its significance, Director & Trustee, Globsyn Business School, emphasized that Serendipity prepares students to navigate complexity and deliver outcomes by simulating real organisational environments.

This year’s theme, ‘Ecoverse,’ aligned with SDG 13: Climate Action, highlighting sustainability as a strategic and ethical business imperative. The event encouraged students to explore how climate consciousness, responsible leadership, and business strategy intersect in today’s corporate environment.

Key highlights included Invictus, the intra-college sports fest promoting teamwork and resilience, and Battle Royale, an inter-collegiate platform featuring debates, simulations, and business challenges that tested analytical thinking and strategic agility. The cultural segment, Social, added emotional depth through music, dance, and theatrical expression, as students expressed gratitude to parents, faculty, and mentors.

In its silver jubilee year, Serendipity 2026 stood as a powerful testament to GBS’s belief that true education transcends classrooms and transforms lives.
