The survey was conducted during the months of April and May 2021 when the second wave was at peak. 1137 people were surveyed from various age groups in Pune city using google forms and online conversations. Around 72% of this study population had received at least one dose of vaccine. Out of the vaccinated people 93% had received Covishield and 7% were vaccinated with Covaxin. Around 26% of the vaccinated people had received both doses. Side effects like fever, headache, pain were reported by around 44% of the vaccinated people. It was observed that about 19% of the total covid positive people had received one dose of vaccine whereas this percentage was 5% those who received both doses. Out of the people who were tested positive even after both doses of vaccine, the percentage was less than 2%.
