What keeps you connected with the education sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute?
I am very fond of teaching, which is why I have chosen this career path. I have 25 years of overall experience in teaching, and I have been connected with this group for the same duration. The dedication of the management to students and education is what keeps me connected and motivated to work with them. Regarding this institute, we have full freedom regarding what we want to do here from an educational point of view.
What is your philosophy of leadership?
My philosophy of leadership is based on making timely decisions. A good leader is someone who can make the right decisions at the right time. Additionally, a leader should be able to bring everyone together and work for their benefit.
What are your roles and responsibilities?
I am the head of the Department of Commerce and also the sports convener here. Therefore, I am responsible for both academic and extracurricular activities, specifically sports activities. While there are staff and sports officers designated for these roles, being the convener of the sport adds an extra layer of responsibility. Looking at the whole department, I oversee the entire administrative department. My approach involves addressing student and staff issues collectively. Additionally, I ensure proper arrangements for classes are in place.

Which extracurricular activities are organized in your institute to enhance the skills of students?
We organise numerous activities in the literary, cultural, and sports domains. Along with that, we invite industry experts to give lectures. Instead of calling it trading, we refer to it as virtual trading. We also provide them with guidance on how to navigate this field. The college hosts numerous cultural events, such as inter-class dance competitions and music competitions. If students have talents in areas like drawing or painting, we encourage them by providing opportunities for artistic expression. In sports, many of our students represent the university at different competitions.
What do you think is the greatest strength of your institute?
In my opinion, the greatest strength of our institute lies in the management's belief in its staff, faculty, and other employees. They have full confidence that our students and staff members will propel the institute forward. This confidence extends to the better management of the institute as a whole. Every person here holds their own perspective, and the management has complete confidence in granting them freedom. This freedom is coupled with trust. They trust in the institute's capabilities, in us as individuals, and in our collective potential. This trust is a significant reason why many of us have been associated with the institute for over 25 years.
Any suggestions you want to give to the current youth and aspiring students?
Hard work is crucial to success. Success doesn't come easily; you have to work hard for it. Attend classes regularly and participate actively in lectures. Learning from these sessions is invaluable. Alongside your main course, consider gaining extra knowledge and certificates through additional courses. This is a requirement in today's competitive world. Remember, the more effort you put in, the better the outcomes will be. Keep working hard towards your goals.
