Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Ishika Mridul Moitra: “The GEPIWAT consists of the Group Exercise that is primarily a group discussion followed by a written ability test on the same subject as the GE. Then we have the personal interview which is handled by a teacher and one industry professional. The document verification happens on the same day.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Ishika Mridul Moitra: "My topic on the day of GEPIWAT was centered around the dilemma of startups to go for crowd funding or for loans that they can repay. It included discussion about angel investors, divesting shares etc.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Ishika Mridul Moitra: “I spoke in support of a mixed approach that consists of both crowd funding and loans so that one does not have to pay extremely high interests but can also gather the required funds on time.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Ishika Mridul Moitra: “There was one panel consisting of two members. One person was a faculty member of SIBM Bengaluru and the other was an industry professional. The interview was taken in offline mode. It consisted majorly of questions surrounding a questionnaire I had filled before the GEPIWAT process and questions about my previous degree and work experience.”

I was looking for a different career path and was interested in marketing as a profession.
