Mr. Satendra Pratap Singh is the Head of Admissions and Marketing at the Institute of Management and Research (IMR) in Ghaziabad. He is a Gold Medalist in M.Sc. from Chaudhury Charan Singh University. He also holds an MBA in Marketing and HR from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management in New Delhi. He has over 15 years of work experience and has worked at many prestigious institutes.
What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
Honestly speaking, leadership is not about just giving orders. It is more about working together and guiding the team. Real leaders help to work together and give the right advice so everyone can do their best.
How does the curriculum of the college ensure the best practices of industry?
There is a huge gap between what we're taught in school and what jobs require. To keep up with what the industry needs, colleges have to make sure that their teaching matches the skills and knowledge that employers are looking for. Right now, the curriculum focuses too much on theory. We need to add more practical skills and hands-on experience so students can become better prepared for real-world jobs.
Any insights into how your institute could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?
To be welcoming to students coming from different races or economic backgrounds, it is a must for the institute to promote inclusivity. It's important to provide scholarships and financial aid to those in need and also to create a more accepting environment where every student can feel valued and respected.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the institution and the students are?
The Major role is to help the students with their overall development, making them ready to face challenges ahead in their Professional lives and also helping them to become a valuable asset who can go out and contribute to society, It can be anything from academics to personal or overall professional growth

For the next 10 years, the top priority for the institution should be to ensure the overall development of students so they can become an asset and contribute to society. for this, the institution is required to provide substantial value to the students.
What would you like people to know about your institute that they may not know?
Something that people might not know about our institute is that our major focus is on the quality of education. We always make sure that students are ready to excel in their industries and contribute meaningfully to society by creating a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths?
When talking about the strengths of our college, multiple things come to mind. First, the quality and expertise of the faculty members are very important. Second, the location of the college makes it easy and attractive. And lastly, the overall environment on the campus, including the facilities and atmosphere, adds to the college’s strengths.
