He has completed a Master's in Business Administration with a Finance specialization and in Commerce with Account and Taxation. He has 15 years of rich teaching experience. He has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students. His specialization is in Accounting and Taxation. He has one patent published and has also written a book. He has guided several major research projects and published research papers in UGC Care-listed journals. His hobbies include Yoga, Art, and Singing.

What is the latest program that you are offering in your institute/department that will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?
As per the NEP pattern, Higher Education students have the option that they can choose his /her subjects, and each year, the student has to pass the required credits. We have a good blend of elective and vocational subjects which are provided to the students by keeping in mind the objective of maximum practical and job-oriented knowledge they can get from the program.

Orientation to the maximum accounting-based subject knowledge makes this program more fruitful for future opportunities. The program's focus on a wide range of subjects helps students develop adaptability and problem-solving skills, which are valuable in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
What are the best practices in the course you’re offering?
Regular classes, proper guidance to the students, providing notes and material, special remedial classes, practical learning, case studies, project writing, internships, personal attention to students, etc. are some of the best practices that we are using.
What are some valuable insights from the program that you are offering at your institute/department?
Through Student Improved Groups (SIG), practical learning and exposure are provided to students to become ready for industry standards. B.Com programs usually offer a well-rounded curriculum covering key areas such as accounting, finance, economics, marketing, business management, etc. We organize guest lectures by industry professionals, seminars, and workshops to expose students to practical insights from the business world.

How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?
Students will need to develop a lot of different skills and be flexible when it comes to the type of employment they seek. Students can take a course about Entrepreneurship and engage in projects such as event planning, product design, business management, extra-curricular activities, and more. Something that allows students to build many of these skills is having students create a business. Thinking creatively, communicating ideas, problem-solving, and collaborating to come up with new ideas are the signs of students' development.
How do you tend to build an industry connection with this program?
To build industry connections with our program, we organize conferences, seminars, and guest lectures for students so that our students can get opportunities to connect with employers. Internships, practical learning, case studies, and industry visits will develop a better understanding of students to become professionals.
What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program into your curriculum?
Designing a curriculum is a challenging task. We have to design a curriculum that is up-to-date and can align with the industry's trends. Practical knowledge cannot be taught in the classroom and most of the program is related to theoretical knowledge or according to theory it isn’t found in real life.
What are the types of projects that the students are working on through this program?
In the field project, students will be able to connect with the market business trends, strategies, procedure, and their working. On the other hand, after completion vocational projects help them to get a good job and be ready for work in the job industry.
What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?
B.Com graduates possess a versatile skill set that allows them to enter various sectors and industries. Graduates develop adaptability and problem-solving skills, making them well-prepared for the dynamic nature of the business world. After completing B.Com, students can go into the banking and financial sector, chart accountant practice, company secretary work, tax consultant, etc. Endless job opportunities are in the market for a commerce graduate.
