Shankara Institute of Technology Organises an International Conference

The international conference on Multidisciplinary Aspects of AI & IoT for Sustainable National Development was organized by the University Center of Computer Science & Information Technology( UCCS & IT) University of Rajasthan, Jaipur & S.K. CHAUDHARY EDUCATIONAL TRUST'S SHANKARA GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS KUKAS JAIPUR. Prof Jan Zukovskis, Director, Agriculture Academy, VMU, Lithuania, Prof Dr. Parin Somani, LOSD, UK. Prof. Agnieszka Jaszczak,University of Warmia and Mazury,Poland. Prof. Pobilas, Kaunas Technical University, Lithuania, Sahu Sulaman Nigeria, research associate at Mewar University. Sahil research associate Mewar University eminent personalities were present. Dr. Sant Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman Shankara Group of Institutions, Jaipur inaugurated the session with lamp lighting along with Prof. Krishna Gupta, Director UCCS & IT, UOR and welcomed the eminent personalities. The International Conference was held from 29th Feb-01st March 2024 at Shankara Institute of Technology, Kukas Jaipur.

Shankara Global Hackathon 2024: A Grand Success Amidst Pandemic Challenges

Organised with the blessings of Jagadguru Poojya Sankaracharya Ji of Kancheepuram, the "Shankara Global Hackathon-2024" took place at our Jaipur campus on 1st -2nd March, 2024. In collaboration with Rajasthan Technical University (Kota), MBM University Jodhpur, State Bank of India, and Union Bank of India, programmers and various professionals involved in software development gathered to collaborate intensively on software projects. Shankara Group of Institutions stands as the sole entity in the country to consistently organize the "Global Hackathon" even amidst the pandemic situation for the last four years, garnering recognition and funding from various agencies for young technovators and technocrats.

The inauguration of the "Shankara Global Hackathon" was graced by His Excellency Shri Kalraj Mishra Ji, Governor of Rajasthan, who has been a constant support on all past occasions, motivating management, faculties, and students alike. Inspired by his blessings and words of wisdom, Shankara witnesses significant improvements in its institutional functioning every year.

Hackathons serve as platforms to apply coding skills in solving business problems and real-world challenges. Participants engage in brainstorming sessions, utilizing various skills to develop virtual reality prototype solutions within a given timeframe. The "24 hours Hackathon" also fosters the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture. Outstanding ideas presented during the event undergo careful scrutiny and receive funding from various governmental agencies such as MANAGE, NI-MSME, and others.

The participation of colleges from across India added to the vibrancy of the Shankara Global Hackathon 2024, making it a resounding success despite the prevailing pandemic challenges.
