BCECEB has announced Special Stray Vacancy Round Counseling for MBBS/BDS/BVSc courses. The window for online submission of willingness is open from November 25 to November 28, 2024, until 11:59 PM.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling for UGMAC-2024, aimed at filling vacant MBBS, BDS, and BVSc seats in government, private medical, dental, and veterinary colleges across the state. The counselling process will run from November 25, 2024, to December 5, 2024.
Key Highlights of the Notification
- Eligibility for Participation:
- Candidates who do not currently hold any seat but are in the UGMAC-2024 merit list can register for the Special Stray Vacancy Round.
- Candidates already admitted in UGMAC Rounds 1, 2, 3, or the earlier Stray Vacancy Round can also participate for re-allotment by submitting their willingness to vacate their current seat.
- Candidates admitted via AIQ counselling (Rounds 1 to Stray Vacancy) are not eligible.
- Registration and Willingness Submission:
- The window for online submission of willingness is open from November 25 to November 28, 2024, until 11:59 PM.
- Candidates must fill in their preferences carefully as non-admission to the allotted seat will lead to forfeiture of fees and security deposits.
Additional Seats Added
- The Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College, Saharsa, has received approval for an additional 50 MBBS seats for the academic year 2024-25. These seats will be included in the Special Stray Vacancy Round seat matrix.
Important Fee Details
- Refundable Security Deposit:
- ₹50,000 for government medical, dental, and veterinary colleges.
- ₹3,00,000 for private medical colleges.
- ₹1,50,000 for private dental colleges.
- Failure to join the allotted seat after opting for it in this round will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and tuition fees already paid.
Key Instructions for Candidates
- All candidates must carefully review the seat matrix and eligibility conditions before exercising their options.
- Candidates admitted to new colleges after re-allotment must ensure:
- Submission of original documents at the allotted college.
- Payment of required fees.
- Completion of the admission process before the stipulated deadline.
Penalties for Non-Compliance
- Candidates who fail to join the allotted college will lose their security deposit and tuition fees. Moreover, they will be debarred from participating in the UGMAC 2025 counselling process.
