Bihar UGMAC AYUSH 2026 Counselling Registration Opens; Check Last Date to Apply

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has opened the UGMAC-AYUSH 2026 counselling registration. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The registration and fee payment window will remain open from September 21 to September 26, 2026. The counselling covers BAMS, BHMS and BUMS admissions in Bihar.

Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 are eligible to participate. The choice-filling and locking window will close on September 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM. BCECEB will release the rank card on September 28, 2026, while the Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on October 1, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Applicants must have qualified NEET UG 2026 to register for the counselling. They must also meet the domicile and academic eligibility requirements prescribed by BCECEB.

Candidates should keep their NEET UG admit card, NEET UG scorecard, Class 10 certificate and Class 12 certificate ready. A valid Aadhaar card and residence certificate will also be required.

Candidates applying under a reserved category must upload the appropriate reservation certificate during registration. They must also carry six passport-sized photographs during the document verification process.

Counselling Fee and Security Deposit

The counselling fee is non-refundable, while the security deposit is refundable according to the applicable rules. The concessional fee applies only to SC, ST and DQ candidates selecting government colleges only.

Private AYUSH Seats in Bihar

Private AYUSH colleges contribute another 445 state quota seats. The BAMS programme offers 378 seats across seven private colleges in Bihar, while BUMS offers 67 seats through two private institutions.

Candidates selecting private colleges must pay the higher security deposit of Rs 50,000.

Bihar Government AYUSH Colleges and Seats

Bihar has four government AYUSH colleges participating in the counselling process. The state quota includes 297 seats, while the All India Quota includes 53 seats. The total government intake stands at 363 seats across the BAMS, BHMS and BUMS programmes.

How to Register and Fill Choices at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in?

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the online counselling process:

• Visit the official BCECEB portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
• Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number, candidate’s name and date of birth.
• Complete OTP verification and provide the required personal, contact and academic details.
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
• Pay the applicable counselling fee and security deposit online.
• Download the rank card on September 28, 2026.
• Fill in the preferred colleges and courses in the desired order.
• Lock the final choices by September 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
• Download the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.

Free Exit and Withdrawal Rules

BCECEB permits a free exit only during Round 1, without deducting the security deposit. However, candidates withdrawing after the Round 2 seat allotment will lose their security deposit.

All four counselling rounds will be conducted online through the official BCECEB portal.

1. Register at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in before September 26, 2026.
2. Pay the counselling fee and applicable security deposit online.
3. Download the rank card after its release on September 28.
4. Fill and lock college choices by 11:59 PM on September 29.
5. Check the Round 1 seat allotment result on October 1.
6. Report for document verification on October 3 or 4.
