The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has released the Provisional Selection List for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 for admission to vacant postgraduate seats under the Assam State Quota. The list is for Government Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I., Guwahati, after completion of the second round of online counselling.

As per the official notice dated 20 December 2025, all provisionally selected candidates must report to their respective allotted colleges on 29 and 30 December 2025 for admission. Failure to report within the stipulated dates will lead to cancellation of allotment.

  • Admissions are provisional and subject to eligibility as per Assam PG Medical Admission Rules, 2021 (amended).
  • Candidates must carry all original documents, along with admission and counselling fees.
  • Re-allotted candidates must report to the newly allotted college with proper acknowledgement from the previous institute.
  • Original documents must be deposited at the time of admission.
  • A registered agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of ₹100 must be executed within two weeks of admission.
  • Candidates admitted under 50% All India Quota must resign/surrender the acceptance letter.
  • Any admission involving Dr Ikbal Bahar Laskar will be subject to the outcome of the Gauhati High Court case.
  • Furnishing false information can lead to cancellation of admission and legal action.
