The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the schedule for the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026. This state-level entrance exam is the gateway for students seeking admission into four-year Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) programs across various colleges in Assam for the 2026-27 academic session.

Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. The minimum age requirement is 17 years as of 31st December 2026, with no upper age limit.

Applicants must have passed the 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination in a single sitting with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in mandatory subjects. The test will consist of a single paper featuring 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The subjects include Mathematics (40 questions), Physics (40 questions), and Chemistry (40 questions). Each correct answer earns 4 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response. An online fee of Rs. 1,500 is required at the time of registration. The question paper will be provided in both English and Assamese.
