AP NEET UG 2025 Special Stray Vacancy Round Web Option Entry Begins for BDS Course; Check MQ/CQ Seats Schedule Here!

Dr N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, has officially commenced the Special Stray Vacancy Round web option entry for admission to the BDS course for the academic year 2025–26. The process is being conducted for both Management Quota and Competent Authority Quota seats in dental colleges across Andhra Pradesh, in accordance with the NEET-UG 2025 counselling framework.

Schedule for Exercising Web Options for BDS Stray Vacancies (Management Quota)

As per the official notification, eligible candidates seeking admission under the Management Quota can exercise their web options from 2:00 PM on December 29, 2025, to 2:00 PM on January 2, 2026, through the designated counselling portal.

This round is intended to fill vacant Category B (Management) and Category C (NRI) seats in private and minority dental colleges that remained unfilled after previous counselling rounds. Candidates participating in this round are required to pay a refundable security deposit of ₹2,00,000 before exercising web options, subject to forfeiture conditions as notified by the University.

Schedule for Exercising Web Options for BDS Special Stray Vacancy Round (Competent Authority Quota)

Simultaneously, NTRUHS has also issued a separate notification for admission under the Competent Authority Quota (State Quota) through a Special Stray Vacancy Round. For this round, fresh web options can be exercised from 11:30 AM on December 30, 2025, to 6:00 PM on January 1, 2026.

Eligible candidates must deposit a refundable security amount of ₹10,000 to participate. A total of 63 BDS seats are reported to be available under this quota, arising due to non-joining of candidates allotted seats in earlier rounds.

Only candidates whose names appear in the final merit list and subsequent eligible lists, and who are not holding any MBBS or BDS seat under State Quota, All India Quota, or Deemed University counselling, are eligible to participate. Candidates already allotted or joined seats in any quota are strictly ineligible.
