The AP ECET 2026 application fee is ₹600 for OC candidates, ₹550 for BC candidates, and ₹500 for SC/ST candidates. The fee must be paid online during the application process.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially announced the commencement of AP ECET 2026 registration. As per the notification released for Common Entrance Tests 2026, the AP Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) will be conducted for lateral entry admissions into engineering programmes for the academic year 2026–27.

AP ECET 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode under the aegis of APSCHE. The examination is scheduled to be held on April 23, 2026, and will be conducted by JNTU Anantapur on behalf of the council. Eligible diploma holders and B.Sc. Mathematics graduates seeking admission directly into the second year of B.E./BTech programmes in Andhra Pradesh can apply for the entrance test.
Candidates can submit applications without a late fee till March 2, 2026, after which multiple extended deadlines will be available with increasing late fees, ending on March 18, 2026, with a late fee of ₹10,000. Applicants will also be allowed to make corrections in their submitted application forms on March 20, 2026. The hall tickets will be available for download from April 9, 2026, while the preliminary answer key will be released on April 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
The result of the examination will be declared on May 7, 2026 (Thursday), as per the official schedule.

AP ECET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for AP ECET 2026 must meet the eligibility conditions prescribed by APSCHE. The entrance test is open to diploma holders and B.Sc. Mathematics graduates who wish to secure lateral entry admission into the second year of B.E./B.Tech programmes in Andhra Pradesh.
Applicants must have passed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognised institution or obtained a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject from a recognised university. Candidates should also satisfy the minimum qualifying marks as specified in the official notification.
