NTRUHS released the Phase I allotment list for admission to the BSc nursing course. Students can visit the official website of NTRUHS to download the allotment list.

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTR UHS), Vijayawada, has released the allotment list for the first phase of web-based counseling for admissions into the B.Sc. (Nursing) 4-year degree course for the academic year 2024-25. The process was initiated on October 30, 2024, with allotment results released on November 1, 2024. Candidates allotted seats are required to report to their respective colleges by November 5, 2024, before 3:00 PM. Classes are scheduled to commence on November 11, 2024.

The university has instructed all government and private unaided non-minority and minority nursing colleges to follow a structured admission process. An Admission Committee at each college will verify original certificates to ensure candidates meet the eligibility criteria.

Key Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing 4-Year Course

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board (AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or equivalent). Intermediate vocational students must have a Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences.

    • OC Category: 45% aggregate in science subjects

    • SC/ST/BC Categories: 40% aggregate in science subjects

  • EAPCET Qualification: Candidates must qualify for the Andhra Pradesh EAPCET 2024, meeting the minimum percentile as specified by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education.

  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.

Admission Guidelines

Colleges must form an internal Admission Committee to verify the authenticity of candidate documents and ensure compliance with eligibility criteria. Any discrepancies found must be reported to the university promptly. Colleges must also upload the reported/unreported candidates' data to the university portal by the deadline.

Key Instructions for Colleges

  • Document Verification: Original certificates must be collected and verified. The university will later announce the date for final verification and approval.

Fee and Certificate Return Policy: If a candidate opts for another college in subsequent counseling phases, their fees and original certificates must be returned. Non-compliance will lead to disciplinary action.
