AKTU to Establish One-Stop Startup Assistance Centre for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

New Delhi: APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is preparing to establish a dedicated One-Stop Startup Assistance Centre to assist youths who wish to begin their own businesses as well as to help entrepreneurs expand their companies.

The announcement was made by AKTU on March 04, 2024, at a district-level Udyog Bandhu meeting held by Lucknow District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar. This initiative will be taken as a part of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s goal of creating a business-friendly environment in the state.

The meeting was organised to address the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs and industrialists. Speaking on this occasion, Suryapal Gangwar highlighted the importance of a collaborative approach in accomplishing the district's shared economic expansion goals.

Informing about this step, AKTU Vice Chancellor JP Pandey shared, “The centre will prove beneficial to youth beaming with new ideas but lack the required awareness to kickstart a scalable startup”.

“It will also resolve the technical issues of entrepreneurs. Besides, technical expertise and guidance in AI and how its potential can be harnessed will also be extended”, he further added.

The university is planning to establish an equation centre to help aspiring entrepreneurs understand the fundamentals of starting a business. The center will play an important role in coordinating numerous stakeholders to grow existing businesses.
