The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has opened choice filling. This is for the Master of Science (M.Sc) Nursing Counselling 2026 Round 1. Qualified candidates can now fill and lock choices at aiimsexams.ac.in. The window closes on July 18, 2026 at 5 PM.
AIIMS will release the Round 1 seat allotment on July 25, 2026. Only candidates who cleared the entrance test can take part. The M.Sc Nursing 2026 result was declared on June 27, 2026.

How to Fill Choices for AIIMS M.Sc Nursing Counselling 2026?
Choice filling is fully online through the AIIMS examination portal. Candidates use the same login as the M.Sc Nursing result. The steps below explain the full process.
- Visit the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Log in using the candidate ID and password.
- Select the AIIMS institutes and nursing specialities of choice.
- Arrange the choices in strict order of preference.
- Review the full preference list on the screen.
- Lock the choices before July 18, 2026 at 5 PM.
Unlocked choices will be auto-locked at the deadline. No edits are allowed once the window closes.
AIIMS M.Sc Nursing Counselling Rounds Structure
AIIMS runs M.Sc Nursing counselling in a strict rank-based mode. Round 1 and Round 2 are held online through the portal. An offline open round follows later if seats remain.
Seat allotment is based only on the combined merit list. Seats are offered across various AIIMS campuses in India. Specialities include Medical Surgical, Community Health, Obstetric, Paediatric and Psychiatric Nursing.
Round 1 is the first real chance to lock an AIIMS seat. The choices locked now decide the institute and specialty allotted. Weak or rushed choice filling can push good ranks to lower preferences.
