24 Hours of Innovation: AISSMS Institute's Hackathon Conducted from October 9-13; Check Details Here

New Delhi: All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology organized a ‘3 Days workshop + 24 hour Hackathon in association with Brain-O-Vision’ dated from October 9- 13, 2023.

The three-day event held at AISSMS Institute discussed SDG, START-UP INNOVATION USING PYTHON, DATA SCIENCE, AND ML teaching topics. All of these topics assist students in finding jobs. The participants gained expertise from Mrs. Yashasvi and other esteemed members of the Brain-O-vision team.

A thorough introduction to data science, its applications, and the importance of data-driven decision-making was given at the start of [Day 1] of the session. On [Day 2], participants gained a deeper understanding of data analysis and machine learning. Experts who contributed knowledge about data manipulation, model construction, and evaluation guided participants through interactive workshops. The third and final day was devoted to discussing cutting-edge data science problems and real-world applications.

Participants were invited to test their knowledge at an exciting 24-hour hackathon after the workshop. On October 12 at 11:00 AM and continuing until October 13 at 11:00 AM, the 24-hour Hackathon focused on building Data Science projects in real time using the workshop information. Throughout the whole 24-hour period, students remained awake and focused on building their projects. Over the course of a 24-hour period, students produced useful projects, answered knowledge tests, and engaged in a variety of social activities like campfires, jam sessions, cultural events, and more.

The groups were evaluated and chosen by the Brain-o-vision team based on their performance. The experts chose illustrious teams as the hackathon was coming to a close based on their projects and presentations. The winners received merit certificates, monetary prizes (first place received Rs. 5000, second place received Rs. 3000, third place received Rs. 2000), and free internships were also promised to the winners and chosen teams. All volunteers and participants received appreciation certificates from Brain-o-vision. They also gave the AISSMS IOIT college a certificate of gratitude.

Dr. P.B. Mane, the principal, and Dr. M.P. Sardey, the HOD electronics and telecommunications engineering, were present during the event. This event was successfully arranged by the Telecom Engineers Student Association (TESA committee) under the guidance of the faculty coordinators Mrs. Mamta Koban and Mr. Devendra Itole.
