- University of Stuttgart M.S in Mechanical Engineering/Materials and Production Technology offers the students a very extensive and individual study structure through extensive options in the selection of compulsory subjects with options as well as in the two specialization subjects.
- In order to ensure the high quality standards of the course, the subjects are grouped to ensure the depth and breadth of the education. Furthermore, the students can set thematic focal points when selecting the study and master’s thesis.
- The master's thesis can be prepared in cooperation with industry. In addition to the technical modules, the course also includes a subject-related and an interdisciplinary key qualification.

- two specialization subjects (each 18 CP)
- three compulsory modules with options (each 6 CP)
- two key qualifications (each 3 CP)
