Field of Study:
- The aim of the seven-semester Bachelor's program at the University of Kassel is a generalist, practical and scientifically oriented education. In the first semesters, engineering fundamentals are taught in mathematics and mechanics, in natural science subjects, in IT applications, and in civil engineering.
- Students can then set priorities and choose between seven fields of study: construction operations and construction management, structural engineering, traffic, water, numerical methods of structural analysis, road construction and materials.
- An internship in construction companies, engineering offices, building administrations or with private sponsors often creates contacts with later employers. The bachelor's degree enables direct professional practice or a subsequent master's degree.
