Eligibility & Entry Requirement
The entry requirements for the RWTH International Academy Masters in Robotic Systems Engineering program:
- Academic requirements: Applicant must have a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline, such as:
- Mechanical engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Computer science
- Industrial engineering
- Robotics
- Automation
- English language proficiency: Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency with a minimum score of 90 on the TOEFL iBT, 5.5 on the IELTS.
- German language proficiency: No German language proficiency is required for admission. However, students are encouraged to learn German as it will help them to integrate into the German academic and social environment.
- GRE: Applicants must submit their GRE scores, with a minimum score of 145 on the Verbal Reasoning section, 160 on the Quantitative Reasoning section, and 3 on the Analytical Writing section. Applicants who are graduates of the RWTH German Engineering College or the RWTH 4+2 Program are exempt from the GRE requirement.
- Relevant work experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience by the time of enrollment.
- Personal statement: Applicants must submit a personal statement that describes their motivation for studying Robotic Systems Engineering and their career goals.
