  • The M.Sc. Robotic Systems Engineering from RWTH International Academy focuses on the optimal use of robots in industry and society as well as the development and construction of novel robotic systems.   • As an M.Sc. Robotic Systems Engineering student, you will learn to
  1. create industrial robots, mobile robots, assistance robotics and intralogistics robotic systems
  2. develop, implement and program robotic systems for different levels of autonomy
  3. design automated and programmable robots that can operate in an agile environment
  4. develop robotic systems for embedded production systems or autonomous warehouses

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

The entry requirements for the RWTH International Academy Masters in Robotic Systems Engineering program:

  • Academic requirements: Applicant must have a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline, such as:
    • Mechanical engineering
    • Electrical engineering
    • Computer science
    • Industrial engineering
    • Robotics
    • Automation
  • English language proficiency: Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency with a minimum score of 90 on the TOEFL iBT, 5.5 on the IELTS.
  • German language proficiency: No German language proficiency is required for admission. However, students are encouraged to learn German as it will help them to integrate into the German academic and social environment.
  • GRE: Applicants must submit their GRE scores, with a minimum score of 145 on the Verbal Reasoning section, 160 on the Quantitative Reasoning section, and 3 on the Analytical Writing section. Applicants who are graduates of the RWTH German Engineering College or the RWTH 4+2 Program are exempt from the GRE requirement.
  • Relevant work experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience by the time of enrollment.
  • Personal statement: Applicants must submit a personal statement that describes their motivation for studying Robotic Systems Engineering and their career goals.
