Course Curriculum

  • The batch size typically ranges between 30 to 50 students, depending on the course. My program was of moderate difficulty, primarily because we had to adapt to European marketing strategies, tools, and shortcuts. The curriculum was a balanced mix of theoretical and practical learning, though it leaned more towards the practical side. Most of our assignments were based on real-time projects rather than simulated ones.
  • On the positive side, the course gave me valuable insight into the working culture and marketing environment in Europe, especially in the field of brand management.
  • On the challenging side, job hunting post-graduation was overwhelming. As French is not my first language, establishing a foothold in the local job market proved to be difficult.
  • Class schedules varied depending on the professor. Typically, we had three sessions a day, starting from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and sometimes extending until 7:30 p.m., with breaks in between.
  • During my year, we had 8 Indian students in the class.

Fees

  • My course tuition was €12,500/year. Advance of €1,000 guarantees entry. Rest can be paid in installments on giving notice to the audit team. Housing in Marseille is €500–€800/month. Students can apply for CAF after legal formalities such as bank account and visa are completed. An RTM card for transport is ~€50/month. Daily needs vary according to lifestyle.

  • It was a combination of both theoretical and practical and also included a lot of presentations and team projects.
  • Big positive is that you are able to collaborate and contribute as a team on the majority of the projects.
  • The classes were usually scheduled during the day.. starting at 8 am and until 5 pm. There would be odd days when the class would end around 1 pm. But you can expect 8-5 on daily basis.
  • We had 30 students in our class. Majority of them being French. There were 5 Indians and around 10 international students.

Fees

  • It was around 19000 euros when I applied. And to be paid yearly. There could be changes recently in the fee structure.
  • Monthly expense to stay in Marseille would be in between 1000-1500 euros depending on the accommodation you book.
  • Accommodation could be around 800-1500 approx
  • Transportation 50 euros.
  • Groceries and living 1000 approx .
  • Personal expenses would fall inside 100 euros for one's leisure.

  • There are online platforms like roomlala, studapart, appartager where you can find accommodations, but you can approach the housing department of KEDGE to help you find an accommodation. Usually kedge has partnerships with student accommodations, especially in Marseille and Bordeaux, where you can find a room but you should book 5-6 months in advance.

  • I found accommodation through online platforms like LeBonCoin and Roomlala. Initially, it was challenging to secure a place remotely, especially with limited availability in the city. I also consulted local real estate agents. My recommendation is to start early, be flexible with location, and consider shared accommodation to reduce costs.
