XIC OET 2026 Eligibility
XIC OET 2026 is conducted for candidates who wish to take admission in postgraduate courses in the field of communication. Following is the detailed explanation of XIC OET entrance examination eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should be Indian Citizens.
- Students must have completed their three years of Graduation from any stream such as Arts, Commerce, Science, BMS, BE, Catering etc that is approved by the university.
- The age of the candidate must be 35 years or below can apply for the entrance exam.
- Students who are appearing in the final year can also apply for admission
How to Fill XIC OET 2026 Application Form
Application forms for XIC OET 2026 is released on March 1, 2026. The application form can be filled in online mode only. Candidates can fill out the online form from the official website of Xavier’s Institute of Communications.
Let us take a look at the steps that candidates need to perform while filling the application form for XIC OET 2026:
- Candidates first need to reach the official website of Xavier’s Institute of Communications, which is www.xaviercomm.org.
- On the Home Page, candidates need to click on the link – ‘Admissions 2026-25’.
- After this, candidates need to click on link named – ‘Registration’.
- From this link, candidates may click on – ‘Register for OET 2026’.
- The application form will now open up.
- Candidates need to select the course which they want to opt for and start filling in the details.
- Candidates also will need to upload their recent colored passport-sized picture in the form.
- Candidates will also need to upload a ‘Statement of Purpose’ in the registration process.
- After filling in all the details and uploading the necessary documents, candidates now need to make the payment.
- Application fee for XIC OET 2026 is expected to be INR 3,500 for all kinds and categories of students.
- Candidates can make the payment using a Debit Card, a Credit Card or Net Banking.
- After making the payment, the application form is complete. Candidates are advised to take a printout of this duly filled application form, as it may be needed further in case of any discrepancy.
While filling the application form, candidates are advised to take certain things. These are:
- Keep a scanned copy of recent passport size picture, before starting to fill the application form.
- Confirm if Debit/Credit Card is enabled to make payments online.
- After the registration is done, candidates will be provided with an application number, candidates are advised to preserve it safely.
- The email id and the mobile number provided in the registration will be used for future communication. Therefore, candidates are advised to mention only the ones which they can use in future.
