How to Fill UPES DAT Application Form 2026

The UPES DAT 2026 application form is fully online. Complete it in two phases — first register on the admissions portal, then log in and fill the full form.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit the official admissions portal at https://www.upes.ac.in/admissions and click "Apply Now" under the B.Des programme.
2. Enter your full name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate.
3. Verify your mobile number and email ID using the OTPs sent by UPES.
4. Set a strong password and note down your Application Number — you will need it for every future login.
5. Save your login credentials securely — they are required for slot booking, admit card, PI scheduling, and the offer letter.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in to the UPES admissions portal using your Application Number and password.
2. Fill in your personal details — name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, parents’ details, and correspondence address.
3. Fill in your academic details — Class 10 and Class 12 board, year of passing, roll number, and percentage / CGPA. Appearing students can select the "Appearing" option.
4. Select B.Des as the programme and choose your preferred specialisation (Product Design, Transportation Design, Interaction Design, or Game Design).
5. Choose the UPES DAT selection mode and pick an online proctored test slot.
6. Upload your photograph, signature, Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet (or admit card if appearing), and ID proof in the specified format and size.

8. Pay the application fee of ₹1,750 using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Documents Required for UPES DAT Application Form 2026

UPES DAT Application Fee 2026

UPES charges a single flat application fee for all Indian categories. The fee covers the UPES DAT slot, evaluation, and the PI round.

Payment accepted via: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI. No offline payment (cheque, DD, cash) is accepted.

The application fee is non-refundable — even if you withdraw your application or do not appear for the UPES DAT.

UPES does not run a fixed correction window like national-level exams. Instead, the admissions portal lets you edit most fields until you pay the fee and lock the form. After fee payment, only limited corrections are allowed and only through a written request to the admissions team at enrolments@upes.ac.in.
