TJEE 2024 exam pattern would be based on the new examination pattern introduced in the 2022 iteration of the exam. Instead of attending 4 different shifts over the period of 2 days, the students now have to attend 3 shifts on a single day. There is a provision of -1 negative marking has been introduced in TJEE 2024 exam. Also now, each question would be of 4 marks instead of being of 2 marks. The exam will still be conducted offline, i.e., paper-based mode only.
The first shift comprise a combined Physics and Chemistry paper of 1 hour and 30 minutes of duration. The second shift would be dedicated to Mathematics and would be of 45 minutes duration. The third shift would feature a Biology paper and would be of 45 minutes duration. Group A candidates seeking admission to Engineering / Technological Degree Courses will attend Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics shifts. Group B candidates seeking admission to Medical / Agricultural / Veterinary / Fishery will attend Physics, Chemistry, and Biology shifts. Group C candidates, seeking admission to any of the available courses, would attend all three shifts.
TJEE 2024 syllabus includes topics from class XI and XII. Tripura JEE comprises Multiple Choice Questions which are asked from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Candidates can appear for a minimum number of three subjects, and the maximum number of subjects is four. Each subject carries 30 compulsory questions for each subject, taking 3 questions from each module, making total 120 marks for each subject.

Ans. You must use blue or black ball point pen to mark answers on TJEE 2024 OMR sheet. It must be noted, once marked you cannot change answers. Any stray mark or any other mark on the OMR sheet is not allowed. More than one response is also not allowed.

TJEE 2024 Exam Pattern in Details
Tripura JEE 2024 exam pattern is set by Tripura Board of JEE. The examination pattern tells about the number of questions, type of questions, marking scheme, examination duration etc. Students must know about the examination pattern before start preparing for the exam.
- Students will be given OMR sheet to mark the answers. The mode of entrance examination is offline.
- The questions are multiple choices based on the latest syllabus of TJEE 2024
- Each question will have 4-5 options and each subject will weigh 120 marks.

For the first time, negative marking has been introduced in Tripura JEE. TJEE 2024 marking scheme is as follows:

TJEE 2024 OMR Sheet Marking Instructions
You must remember and abide by the below-mentioned guidelines while marking answers on your respective OMR sheet:
1. Write and mark your Roll Number, Test (Question) Booklet Series and Subject name in appropriate places on the OMR Sheet.
2. Mark the correct answer by darkening the circle.
3. Use of white fluid/eraser/blade etc. for correction in OMR sheet is not permitted.
4. Once marked, no change in the response shall be permitted.
5. More than one response is also not allowed. Multiple answers given against one question will not be considered for evaluation, i.e. marking more than one answer or marking alterations after marking an answer will result in zero mark.
6. Do not make any stray mark or any other mark on the OMR sheet.
7. Do not cut or mutilate the OMR sheet.
8. Do not fold or damage the OMR sheet.
9. Candidates should write the OMR Sheet Number (as provided in OMR sheet) in the Attendance Sheet before putting his/ her signature.
10. Candidate shall have to ascertain that the information furnished by them in the OMR Sheet are duly checked by the invigilator before putting signature
11. Candidates are to sign in 2 (two) places, one signature in the OMR Sheet and the other signature in the Attendance Sheet on the space specified for these.
12. Do not do any rough work on the OMR Sheet. It may be done in the space provided in the question paper
13. There will be no re-evaulation of the OMR sheet
14. Return the OMR sheet before leaving the exam hall
15. Any unfair means or imitating or creating disturbance inside the exam hall, will lead to the cancellation of TJEE 2024 exam
16. The signature should be identical with the signature which was uploaded in the application form
TJEE 2024 Syllabus
Every candidate can check or download the examination syllabus of Tripura JEE 2024 from the official website of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. Students must go through each and every topic of the syllabus. The questions in the paper are asked from the XI and XII subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Students have to select any three subjects for the paper and the paper is divided into three groups i.e. Group A, B and C.
For Technical degree courses, candidates have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics i.e. (Group A) while, Veterinary or Agriculture courses, candidates have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology i.e. (Group B). On the other hand, Group C candidates will have to appear for all the 4 subjects.

Tripura JEE 2024 Exam Important Instructions
- Students must bring TJEE 2024 admit card at the time of entrance examination
- Candidates are only allowed to use Black/ blue ballpoint pen to answer the questions in the OMR sheet
- Applicants are advised to carefully fill their Enrolment Number, Question Booklet series and Subject names
- Students are advised not to mark more than one response for the same question
- Candidates are not allowed to do any rough work on OMR sheet
- Students must reach the examination centre before time.
