 TBSE HS Exam Pattern 2023 has been released by Tripura Board of Secondary Education, (TBSE) on the official website. For the past 2 years, the board bifurcated the TBSE H.S exam into Term-I and Term-II examinations. For AY-2022-23, there will be only one term examination, which will be considered to prepare the final result. Also, the board has revised the marking scheme and the passing criteria for the upcoming 2022-23 session.

TBSE HS Exam Pattern 2023

Tripura Board has revised the exam pattern for the session 2022-23 H.S examinations. Further details are given below.

  1. The TBSE H.S written exam will be of 80 marks. 
  2. The question is divided into multiple groups i.e. Group-A, Group-B, Group-C, and Group-D.
  3. Each section has its own question type and marks weightage.
  4. In all subjects, 15-20 marks will be ear-marked for MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
  5. There will be no Multi correct answer-type questions. A student has to tick the single correct answer. 
  6. The total number of MCQs must not be more than 5 in any subject.
  7. There will be OTQ (Objective Type Questions) in the question paper each will carry 1 mark. 
  8. In the Music theory exam, there could be 10-12 questions.
  9. There will be one internal choice option for those questions having 5 or more marks except Accountancy.
  10. There will be no negative marking for wrong ticket answers.
  11. The timing for the exam would be 3 Hours and 15 Min.

Students who are going to appear in the TBSE Class 12 exam 2023 can follow the preparation tips given below to score good marks.

  1. First, read the syllabus thoroughly provided by the Tripura Board. Without knowing the syllabus it is not possible to score good marks. So, it is advised to check the subject-wise syllabus.
  2. Prepare a timetable. Distribute your daily time to studying the subjects. Give equivalent time to each subject and even more time to subjects you find difficult to understand. It will help in improving the quality of study and strengthen concentration.
  3. Practice Model Question Papers are available on the board’s website. Solve and analyze the question paper. It will help in understanding the exam pattern, important topics, and the most asked questions.
  4. Starting from your academic session, make a habit of writing notes. Write all important points, and concepts taught in class or learned by self-studies. This will help in the last hours of the exam.
  5. Most importantly, revise the chapters you prepared. Revision helps you to remember the concepts for longer. 
  6. It is advised to revise only pre-prepared chapters. Do not go for new chapters when an exam is near. Prepare the chapters well that you have already studied.
