TANCET Rank List 2025 has been released at tn-mbamca.com. The rank list is released for MBA/MCA courses for admission to more than 200 colleges in Tamil Nadu. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in the TANCET exam.
DTE will conduct TANCET counselling based on the published TANCET 2025 rank list. A separate rank list is released for the MBA and MCA course. In case you find any discrepancy or error in the TANCET rank list 2025, you should reach out to the authority using the grievance redressal window within the prescribed deadline – July 15 to 18, 2025 till 5 PM.
However, for admission to M.Tech programs, a separate rank list will be released for GATE candidates and non-GATE candidates. In case you have appeared for GATE 2025 and are willing to take admission to TANCET participating colleges, your GATE score and TANCET score will be considered for the rank in the merit list. - For candidates (Engineering/Technology), Rank list will be prepared on the basis of GATE qualified score in an appropriate discipline of Engineering/Technology.
- For candidates (Engineering Science XE, Life Science XL), Rank list will be prepared based on GATE qualified score in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers and TANCET 2023 with a weight of 70:30 respectively.
- A CML (Common Rank List) is prepared for GATE (Engineering/Technology) and GATE (Engineering Science XE, Life Science XL).

Rank List is prepared on the basis of marks secured by candidates in TANCET 2025.
Sponsored Category Rank List
- A limited number of seats are made available to candidates employed and sponsored by Governmental organizations, Government aided educational institutions and registered professional architects with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Rank list is prepared on the basis of TANCET (CEETA PG) 2025. Candidates will be admitted only to the University Departments of Anna University, Chennai.
- Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience will be considered for admission to the M.Arch program under the sponsored category in the University Departments of Anna University and School of Planning and Architecture.

Previous Yeras’ GATE Qualifying Marks for TANCA
Those who have appeared for GATE are eligible for a stipend funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. They have to score marks equivalent to the minimum qualifying marks mentioned in the table above.
TANCA Counselling 2025 for M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch/M.Plan
Counselling fee of ₹5300/- (₹300/- refundable) must be paid through DD or Cash. SC/ST/SCA candidates have to pay ₹1150/-. Along with a Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SCA), the candidates are required to have any one of the following:
- TANCET Score 2025
- GATE qualified valid score in the appropriate discipline of Engineering/Technology.
- GATE qualified valid score in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) along with TANCET 2025 score
