What is SOFT CET 2026?

SOFT CET stands for School of Fashion Technology Common Entrance Test. It is the entrance exam conducted by the School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) for admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma-level programs in fashion design, textile design, jewellery design, and fashion communication.

SOFT is a premier fashion design institute with campuses in Pune and Nagpur. The Pune campus is affiliated with SNDT Women’s University and is recognised for its B.Des programs. SOFT CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Step 4 — Fill the Registration Form: Fill in all your personal details, academic details, and the course you are applying for. Make sure you enter correct information, as errors may affect your admission process.

Preparing for SOFT CET 2026 requires a balanced approach across all three stages. Since Stage 2 (Studio Test) carries the most marks, your creative skills matter more than your aptitude scores. Here is a section-wise guide to help you prepare effectively.

Stage 1 — General Ability Test (GAT) Preparation

• Start with SOFT’s sample papers: After registering, you will receive sample question papers for the GAT from SOFT by email. Go through these first to understand the format and difficulty level.
