M.P.Ed.

M.P.Ed. is the only OUCET 2026 programme with a dual-component scoring structure. The CBT covers 75 MCQs for 75 marks. The remaining 25 marks come from the departmental assessment of the student’s sports achievements over the last three years, conducted separately by the Department of Physical Education, Osmania University.

These programmes follow the standard OUCET pattern: a single paper of 100 subject-specific MCQs for 100 marks in 90 minutes. Questions test the full syllabus of the respective discipline at the postgraduate entry level, with no internal section demarcation.

OUCET Question Types 2026

OUCET 2026 is a pure MCQ exam — every question across all 40 CBT subjects has four answer options with exactly one correct answer. There are no numerical answer type (NAT) questions, no multi-select questions (MSQ), no assertion-reason format, and no subjective or descriptive components in any paper.

All OUCET 2026 questions are multiple-choice — select one correct option out of four on the computer screen; there is no OMR sheet or written component in the CBT.

1. Attempt every single question. OUCET 2026 has no negative marking. Leaving a question blank costs you one mark. Eliminate the two least likely options, pick the better guess, and move on — you have nothing to lose by attempting.
2. Secure the 25-mark qualifying threshold first. OC and BC students must cross 25 out of 100. Build a solid base on your strongest topics and lock these marks before targeting a higher score for a competitive rank.

6. For M.P.Ed., maximise your CBT score. The 75-mark CBT component is the only part you control in the exam hall. The 25-mark departmental component is fixed before the exam. Push your CBT score as high as possible to build a buffer.
