NIOS 10th Exam Pattern Marking Scheme
NIOS 10th marking scheme or grading system is based on Tutor Marks Assignments and Final term marks. The following points discusses the grading system of Group A and Group B subjects:
- For Group A subjects, 20 marks are allotted to TMA. Though the final examination is conducted for 100 marks, it will be taken down to 80 as full marks. For final marking, TMA marks and final term marks, which is 80 now, will be taken into account.
- Similarly for Group B subjects, TMAs marks, final term marks and practical marks will be considered for grading. TMAs marks (which is 20) and final examination marks (85 marks) will be taken down to 16 and 64 respectively. Group B marks distribution are as follows
