Kerala Plus Two Registration 2023: Dates, Application Process & Fees

Kerala plus two registration process will start in the month of November 2022, tentatively. The registration forms will be released online on the official website dhsekerala.gov.in. However, the candidates are required to fill the details offline and submit it to their respective schools. The school will then fill the application through online mode. The details shall be filled in carefully as no changes will be allowed later. The details filled by the candidate in the application form will be printed on the DHSE class 12 admit card. 

• DHSE will release the Kerala plus two exam timetable in January 2023, tentatively. 
• During the second year, no change in the subject combination will be permitted.
• Applications will be rejected that are submitted after the last date as notified by DHSE.

Kerala Plus Two Registration Process 2023

The class 12 registration form will be available on the official DHSE website. Students can access the forms through their schools and submit the duly filled form to them. The school authorities will further complete the online application process. The steps to fill the registration form are as follows: 

Step 1: Access the official portal of the Kerala Board.

Step 2: Look for the latest notifications on the main page.

Step 3: Click on the link for ‘class 12 registration’. You will be directed to another page.

Step 4: Login using your credentials and start filling in all the details.

Step 5: Once all the details are filled, tap on the submit button. 

Step 6: Pay the required fee. Online payment can be made through any of the preferred mode.

Step 7: Post the successful registration, a confirmation page will appear. Take a printout of the form and submit it to the school management.

While filling the registration form, the candidates are required to enter the following details without making any mistakes. Any incorrect, incomplete forms, or forms that are submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

• Centre Code
• Group of Examination

• Open School Registration No. (for open school candidates only)

• Details of the Last HSE Examination Appeared (for supplementary students) – Registration number, year, month

Note: Candidates completing their studies from Open School are supposed to attach a copy of the open school registration memo while submitting the application form. While submitting the Kerala Board Plus Two registration form, candidates have to attach a copy of the SSLC certificate or equivalent as it will act as proof of date of birth.

Kerala Plus Two Registration 2023: Important Instructions

Important points to note while submitting the Kerala plus two registration form for both regular and open school students are mentioned below. 

• No modification of the examination center is permitted.
• The application form will be rejected straightaway by the authorities in case submitted post the deadline. 
• Candidates are not supposed to send the application form directly to the Directorate.
• Candidates are supposed to fix a passport-size photograph in the space provided on the application form.
• The concerned school Principal has to correctly attest to the candidate's photograph.
• Candidates are supposed to submit the prescribed examination fee to the school before the deadline.
• The fee amount once paid will not be returned.

Guidelines for Regular Students

Some important guidelines for regular students of class 12 are as follows: 

• The regular students need to submit the examination fee to their respective schools.  
• The regular students need to register only for the Higher Secondary Directorate’s subjects in the school. 
• The students who have not undergone Continuous Evaluation (CE) or have not been issued the order sanctioning condition due to the shortage of attendance, will not be allowed to appear for the Kerala class 12 exam even after the registration is done.

Guidelines for Open School Students

Open school students are advised to go through the below guidelines regarding the registration process: 

• For the application process, Open School students have to apply to the Principal of the exam center allocated to them.
• Open school students have to submit their Kerala plus two registration form for the Higher Secondary Exam in the prescribed format.
• They shall register for the Kerala plus two exam only for those subjects that are recorded as per their open school registration memo.
• Moreover, all the open school students who will be appearing for the Higher Secondary Exam, shall submit a self-attested copy of the first year Higher Secondary Examination scoresheet.
