JKLU DET 2024 Application form for round 2 and round 3 is avialable online. The exam is conducted in three rounds. Candidates can choose any of the three rounds of JKLU DET exam. JKLU will conduct Round 2 and 3 of JKLU DET on April 20, and 11 May, 2024 respectively. In order to qualify for admission to B.Des./ M.Des., the candidates must choose a round of their convenience and choice to appear in the Design Entrance Test (JKLU-DET)
As per JKLU DET 2024 Exam Pattern, the question paper will consists of 32 questions i.e., 30 MCQs and 2 Subjective questions of total 100 marks. Candidates will be given 90 minutes to solve the question paper. The entrance exam will have two sections:
- MCQs where the candidates will be evaluated for logical reasoning, general knowledge, and visual sensibilities.
- subjective questions where the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their creative abilities.
The shortlisted candidates who clear the entrance exam and meet all the eligibility criteria will be required to upload their Portfolio on or before the last date of submission and appear for an interview round with the faculty. The dates for the interview will be notified individually. Candidates will be asked to submit 10 pieces of their original creative works, that will reflect their motivation and support their application. These can be submitted as collage, sketches, drawings, photographs, videos, 3D models, food presentations or any other skills.

JKLU DET 2024 Registration
The registration process for the JKLU DET 2024 is conducted online on the official website of the university. Candidates have to fill out the online application form at, jklu.edu.in and pay the application fee. The application fee for the JKLU DET 2024 is Rs. 1000/-. Candidates can pay the fee online using their credit/debit card or net banking.
JKLU DET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for JKLU DET 2024 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Eligibility for B.Des:
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in both Class X & XII or equivalent grades.
- Candidates should have passed classes 10th and 12th from a recognised Central/ State Board/ University in India or in any foreign country recognised as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Students appearing in the final examination of 10+2 may also apply. However, the admission will be provisional subject to achieving the minimum marks.
- A valid UCEED score obtained by the candidate are considered for qualifying for admissions in JKLU. In case the student has not appeared, he/she must appear for JKLU-DET.
- Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/ Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only.
Eligibility for M.Des:
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in a three-year Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised University.
- Students appearing in the final examination of Bachelor’s Degree can also apply.
- A valid CEED score obtained by the candidate are considered for qualifying for admissions in JKLU. In case the student has not appeared for, he/she must appear for JKLU-DET.
