- More than 12,939 candidates appeared for the exam, of 14,538 candidates who registered for the exam, making an attendance rate of more than 89%. The Exam was conducted on 26th April,2025, across more than 94 centres in 65 cities across the country.
- The total number of seats available for JIPMAT 2025 is 260, with 120 seats at IIM Bodh Gaya and 140 at IIM Jammu. Admission to this 5-year program will be based on the JIPMAT Scores, marks from classes 10 and 12, and availability of seats based on the categories.
The JIPMAT 2025 counselling process for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya will begin in June 2025. Shortlisted candidates will have to verify their documents, pay the fees and confirm their admission based on the scores.
In JIPMAT 2024, more than 10,000 candidates appeared for the exam. The topper scored more than 360 marks, being the highest ranked admitted to IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya.

What's a good score in JIPMAT?
For JIPMAT 2025, a good score is one above the expected cutoff, which allows a candidate to comfortably secure above the required marks, as well as to increase the chances of admission to IIM Jammu or IIM Bodh Gaya.
Given that the total marks in JIPMAT is 400, a score of above 300 (ie, 300+) is considered good for the General category, but you should also consider the institute and the reservation category.

JIPMAT Result 2025 Selection Criteria
Candidates will get admission based on a composite score calculated from their JIPMAT scores, scores from Class 10 and Class 12, and any other criteria specified by the institutions.

How many seats are available in Jipmat?
The total number of seats available through JIPMAT 2025 is 260, divided among the two participating IIMs, IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya.
Further division of seats will be made in accordance with the Government of India’s reservation policies and categories, such as VoBC-NCL (non-creamy layer), SC, ST, EWS, and PwD.

JIPMAT Counselling 2025
The counselling process for JIPMAT 2025 will be conducted separately by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya after the JIPMAT Result declaration.
