ITSAT 2024 Exam Pattern; Check Exam Mode, Total Questions, and Marking Scheme

ATIT 2024 exam pattern has been released on the official website. The question paper of ITSAT 2024 exam includes a total of 120 MCQs. The test is conducted in both online and offline modes. There is no change in the exam pattern in the last few years. The question paper is set of class 10+2 standard.

As per ATIT 2024 marking scheme, each question carries a +1 mark weightage and 0 for unattempted ones. There is no negative marking for incorrect attempts in ATIT 2024 exam. The test is conducted for a total 2 hours of time duration. ITSAT 2024 question paper will include topics of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Logical Reasoning. Also, the paper will be set in English language only.

ITSAT Online Mode

  • It will be conducted in computer based format (CBT).
  • A total of 2 hours will be given to candidates for completion of test.
  • It will be conducted in 2 to 3 sessions a day.

ITSAT Offline Mode

  • It will be conducted in paper-based format (PBT).
  • A total of 2 hours will be given to candidates for completion of test.
  • The selected cities for conduction of offline ITSAT 2024 Exam are Agartala, Aizawl, Baddi, Dehradun, Dimapur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Tura, Varanasi and Vijayawada

ITSAT (ATIT) 2024 Marking Scheme

There are total 120 questions inITSAT 2024. Each subject has 25% weightage.

  • There is only objective type (multiple choice) questions in ITSAT 2024 exam.
  • No special category of questions is there in any subject or paper set.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • Total 120 questions make up to 120 maximum marks.
  • Candidate will be awarded +1 mark for every correct answer.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong responses.
  • Unanswered questions are ignored while examining OMR Sheet. 
  • Candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as possible.

ATIT Syllabus for Physics

Physics is the study of energy, matter and the interactions between them. It is the most fundamental of the sciences and vast in its scope. Following topics may come under this section.

Important Instructions

Important Instructions for ITSAT (ATIT) 2024

  • Reach the exam venue at least half an hour early.
  • ITSAT exam is an online as well as offline exam and candidates will have to properly plan their time to succeed the exam.
  • Candidates should read the instruction given at the start of the exam.
  • The exam paper will open only after the candidate acknowledges the understanding of the instructions.
  • The exam page will contain candidate's name in the top right corner, the name of the exam in the top left corner. The right side will contain the question palette.
  • Carry your ITSAT admit card and other necessary documents along with you.
  • Check that you have a black or blue ball point pen (if opted for offline paper).

For ATIT Online Test

  • This is fixed option and helps candidates to easily navigate between the questions. The palette has the following legends which are given below:
  1. White box – Candidate has not visited the question yet
  2. Red box – Candidate has visited the question, but has not answered it
  3. Green box – Candidate has answered the question
  4. Purple box – Candidate has marked the question for review
  • The palette will help the candidates to plan their time effectively.
  • Candidates are strongly advised to try the online demo available in the institute website for practice and to get a feel of the exam. 
  • Candidates should click on ‘save’ to save the reply for the question and then got to the next question.
  • Candidate can change their answer, going back to the question by click on the question number from the left panel.
  • Electric gadgets like pagers, phones and calculators are not allowed in the exam center.
  • In case of any problem with the computer system, student should contact the invigilator straightway.
  • Sheets and papers for rough work are not tolerable in the examination hall.

For ATIT Offline Test

  • Candidates have to darken the correct circle using a black or blue ball point pen.
  • Use of pencil is forbidden.
  • Incomplete or indecorous filling of the bubble leads to wrong or partial reading of the response.
  • Candidates are provided one question paper and they are required to answer it on an OMR sheet.
  • Candidates get 10 minutes before the start of the test to read the guidelines and to double-check number of pages, misprints.
  • Cross marks, tick marks and, dot marks are not permissible.
  • Do not overwrite or expunge a marked response.
  • Scratching or writing is not legalized on OMR sheet.
  • Use of White ink or Whitener is impermissible.
