CSEET 2026: June Exam Underway, New Pattern, Syllabus, Result and October Registration

CSEET 2026 is the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). What is CSEET 2026?

CSEET 2026 stands for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts this exam. ICSI is a statutory body under an Act of Parliament and works under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. CSEET is the gateway test for the Company Secretary (CS) course.

The CSEET June 2026 exam has started. Today, 1 June 2026, is Day 1 of the exam, and the Business Communication paper is being held. This is the first session of the new restructured CSEET. The exam runs over four days, from 1 June to 4 June 2026.

All papers are held in the second half of the day. Each paper starts at 2:30 PM. You also get 15 minutes of extra reading time, from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM, to read the question paper before you start writing. The day-wise schedule for the June 2026 session is given below.

ICSI has kept 5, 6, and 7 June 2026 as reserve dates. The Institute will use these dates only if there is any emergency or unforeseen situation. If you are appearing this session, you should keep checking the official website for any last-minute notice.

The June 2026 result is not out yet. As per the official schedule, ICSI will declare the CSEET June 2026 result latest by July 2026.

CSEET 2026 Restructured: What Has Changed?

ICSI announced the restructuring of CSEET on 10 April 2026. The change is effective from the June 2026 session. The January 2026 session was the last CSEET held in the old remote proctored online mode. So if you are appearing from June 2026, you should understand the new pattern well.

The old CSEET was a single online test of 200 marks. It was an MCQ-based exam taken in one sitting. The new CSEET is an offline, centre-based exam of 400 marks held over four days. Three papers are subjective (written answers) and one paper is OMR based. The table below shows the main differences.

CSEET 2026 Syllabus

CSEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The CSEET 2026 eligibility rules are simple. You should check them before you register. The main eligibility points are given below.

• Only an Indian national can apply for CSEET.
• You should have passed or be appearing in the Senior Secondary (10+2) exam or an equivalent exam.
• There is no minimum percentage needed to apply for CSEET.
• There is no upper age limit for CSEET.

Some students do not need to give CSEET at all. These students can register directly for the CS Executive Programme. The exempted categories are:

• CS Foundation pass students.
• Graduates and Post-Graduates in any stream.
• CA Intermediate pass students.
• CMA Final pass students.
• Students in the final year or final semester of a 3-year undergraduate programme (provisional registration).
• Students who passed or are appearing in the 6th semester of a 5-year integrated programme (provisional registration for those appearing).

CSEET 2026 Registration and Fees

CSEET 2026 registration is done online on the ICSI website. The registration is a one-time step that lets you appear for CSEET. After you register, you also need to enrol separately for each exam session you want to attempt.

ICSI gives a fee concession to some categories of students. SC/ST and physically handicapped students get a 50% concession on the registration fee. Students from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh get a 100% concession on the registration fee.
