BLAT (Banaras Law Entrance Test) is conducted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for admission to its 3-year LLB programme at the Faculty of Law. How to Fill BLAT Application Form 2026

You had to complete the BLAT 2026 application in two phases — new registration on the Samarth portal, followed by detailed form filling, document upload, and fee payment. If you registered successfully, refer to the steps below for the correction window.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. You visited the official portal at bhuet.samarth.edu.in and clicked on "New Registration".
2. You entered your full name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as printed on your Class 10 certificate.
3. You verified your mobile number and email using the OTPs sent by the portal.
4. You set a strong password and noted down your BHU Registration Number — required for all future logins, admit card, and counselling.
5. You saved your login credentials securely for use through the entire admission cycle.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. You logged in using your Registration Number and Password at the BHU Samarth portal.
2. You filled in personal details: name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and parents’ details.
3. You entered your academic qualifications: Class 10, Class 12, and graduation board/university, year of passing, and marks obtained.
4. You selected the 3-year LLB programme at the Faculty of Law, BHU.
5. You chose your exam city preference from the available BHU centres (mostly Varanasi for BLAT).
6. You uploaded your photograph, signature, Class 10 certificate, graduation marksheet, and category certificate in the specified format and size.
7. You reviewed all details carefully — cross-checked name, date of birth, category, and photo before final submission.
8. You paid the application fee via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
9. You downloaded and printed the confirmation page for your records.

Note: Submit only one application form. Multiple applications from the same student are rejected and the fee will not be refunded.

2. Click on "Application Form Correction" on your dashboard.
3. Edit the permitted fields — re-upload documents only if you need to fix the photograph, signature, or certificate.
4. Review the changes carefully on the preview screen.
5. Submit the corrected form and download the revised confirmation page.
