Diploma in Mechatronics: What is it About?

We are growing through a period where no product in the world is solely electronic, electrical or mechanical in nature and as the capabilities of electronics get better ,modern mechanical systems are embedded with electronics and controls. This means that the lines between each discipline are becoming increasingly blurred, and there is a growing demand for mechatronics engineers whose knowledge is strong across all of these areas.Mechatronics engineers work in all aspects of the development of products, ranging from design and testing to manufacture.

From consumer goods, such as microwaves, cars and smartphones, to industrial applications such as CNC machine tools, robots and MRI and X-Ray machines, mechatronics engineers use fundamental principles of electrical, mechanical, software, and control engineering in their design and development in order to generate a simpler, more economical and reliable way to do things.

  • Students who wish to seek employment in design and development, manufacturing, maintenance and servicing industries are suitable for it.
  • They should possess the temperament to work in a team, practical and technical skills and a detailed and methodical approach to their work.
  • They should have an interest in mechanics and electronics and also have good creativity ,imagination and problem-solving skills.

Why Study Diploma in Mechatronics?

  • The course equips students with multidisciplinary-skills and knowledge that include topics of mechanical engineering, electronics and computer technology.
  • This diploma prepares them to take up important positions such as engineering assistants, supervisors, maintenance and servicing personnel.

Course Curriculum Overview

I personally choose this course because of the sixth months internship program, which helped me to pass diploma by securing good percentage for higher education Time to time guest lectures good knowledge for entrepreneurship development is given by the college itself The improvement in the subject should be because our branch is a core branch which includes mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer subjects. Then the portion of knowledge for each subject should be increased little more than before. The frequency of timing for exams is perfect as per regarding the marks, the paper hold

Faculty

Faculty to student relationship from old staff is interesting and best than the new staff I personally like R B Shinde Sir, from our Mechatronics department cause of his teaching and interaction with students like a friend Miss Kumbar and Mr Raktate.. cause we came to know that that madam is just a external degree pased student Without any qualification and have zero knowledge about her subject There are two class test between end semester exam.. the end semester exam is not that tough students solve the paper on their own and among 10 to 20 out of 100 students, fail

As we discuss already we have class test one after a month and it is just 20 mark exam so it's not that hard or we can say that it's easy. After that second class test is also having 20 marks and its also easy. After the the end sem practical and theory exam is little bit hard

Fees and Financial Aid

At first year we have 91300rs amd there are category like sc nt obc etc. So ebc and obd have to pay 50093 and sc st have to pay rs 380 only and open category have to pay full fees. In second year fees are same as first year. Also in third year it is same as previous
