Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this field as a career is because of my passion towards medical field and hospitals. Medical field is the most important and fast rising field. This gives career opportunities and future settlement. The reason I chose imaging technology is because of its high demand in the field of medicine. They give good job opportunities and job security. This course teaches us the basics of medicine in the first year and then progress to our core subject. When it comes to difficulty level of the course I think it's moderate. It's not a really difficult course it's quite interesting and challenging one. The way they teach us amazing. They have sem wise exam and have internals also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure here is quite affordable considering other top universities here in manglore. The fee structure for all paramedical course are same and keeps changing in years. The total fee package was around 8 lakhs in our college. Scholarships were provided for students with good academic education. With good marks in their pu. And get other scholarships like for financial support. The main responsibility of our course is to provide images and reports to the doctor and assist them in therapeutics. And improve treatment of the patients. Scaning keeping machines properly keeping reports etc. stipends are not provided for ug students

There are two types of seat, normal and affiliated. Normal seat means we could do the internship in yenepoya hospital but affiliated means we have to decided we're we want to internship and we should select our likely. If we want normal seat we could have above 75% in science subjects in plus two.other wise college will give only affiliated seat.

Campus Life:

There will be orientation program for 5 days in the beginning of class. There will be freshers day. The sports are mostly held on February, March, April, may months. Culturals and annual day are mostly held on April, may, June months. There will be separate fees for these programs. There are libraries in each campus. The university has centralised library which is very neat. There are many books. All classes has smart boards. Classes are digital. In each campus and hostels has the necessary facilities for students and staffs. There are various clubs for students. The marks, attendance and fee details will shown in student portal. Parents also can view student portal.

Faculty:

Facilities of yenepoya, they co-ordinate with students very well. Teaching and mentorship are also good. There is this one period called mentor mentee where students and faculties interact. They were with us when we have any problems. But the problem is, thwy won't give students full marks even if the student written very well in exam. They said that they have the order which says they can't give full marks. I can't understand why they have to do while we write very well. It's unfair. Sometimes faculties didn't give marks which we deserve.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The tuition fee is okay compared to other deemed to be universities and they do provide us a reduction in the semester fee when we have enough marks to be eligible for the scholarship. But the hostel fee is too much compared to the facilities they provide which is very poor

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum 8 out of 10. Medical imaging is really a subject of my interest. the department subject helped me gain some knowledge. But the indulging of subjects like anatomy, physiology and so on really has brought good impact in my academic life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am persuing clinical internship in B sc medical imaging technology which is also called as radiology this course is challenging to students because its all about radiation diagnosis where a student thinks about before he choose this course but there is good scope is there for this in future I would like to tell that there should be more and more improvements and safety measures have to be implemented because the radiation workers are working 6-8 hrs daily and the basic salary the are giving is as much as 20 k for freshers which is very quite bad .so kindly work on this and the exams in this course is semester wise which is 8 semester mean 4 years duration.

Placement Experience:

About placement they are showing a good percentage and you are eligible for placement when you enter the internship year which is the final year. Now, I'm doing internship this is the 9th month of my internship period To date i have given 4 interviews which is from University placement offers and im selected in 1 more im waiting to attend the packages we have got highest is 5LPA and the average is 3.5LPA. so after getting degree we hope will be placed by campus with good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because its have a good job opportunity in the medical field. The curriculum was prepared like an academic study and more focused on the practical area. No need to improve the curriculum in the course they only teach what we need to apply in the field of this course. The timing of the exam was prefect with high difficulty level for to pass the exam and result are published on time.
