Campus Life

Campus Life is not much exciting due to much crowd in a small place. Although the college also helds different fest like BBC Business Conclave, Annual Social Gathering. There is a specific Library which is divided as per the courses and subjects. But the books are not enough available for even half of the students can avail the books . College doesn't offers any social groups or clubs which makes college life boring.t The college offers the students to participate in various sports and join college team to compete in district and college level competition. I'm also a team member in college chess team. College has a great focus on sports also.

Placement Experience

MFrom 6th sem that is final sem students are eligible for placement some of the companies visited are amazon, and local companies which do not operate in big operational size. The highest package offered was approx 6lpa and generally the average package is 4lpa. Around 40-50% students got placed. The college doesn't revealed much information about their placements stats even in the orientation they didn't talked about this much. My plans after getting the degree are preparing for competitive exams like xat cat to pursue MBA.

The library has three floors, two floors are available for reading and writing respectively. All the floors have stacks of books. Research materials are available and librarians are always ready to help. The library doesn't allow access without the identity card. Smartboards are available in the classrooms. Classrooms are big and airy for a good environment. With proper lighting and fans. For group and sports activities, there is NCC, NSS, basketball court, football ground, a swimming pool, long tennis, badminton court, volleyball ground, and all the necessary sports equipment. Every year freshers are encouraged to join the teams. There are clubs called Ignis (literary society) Ridham (radio of college).

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.Com Applied Economics. I chose this course because it will help me understand the economy of India. And it will teach me to use the tools to enhance the economy, face drastic changes like covid-19, and how to recover the economy. All the faculties are experienced teachers for at least ten years, Ph.D. professors. They use examples of current affairs for a better understanding. Tables and statistics are frequently used in teaching methods. They ask questions to the students and encourage us to ask our doubts too. The student ratio is 40:60 for girls: boys. There are midterms and semester exams. In between the semester, there are timely tests. The questions are familiar if you are a regular student. The professors provide us with important topics and questions from time to time. It's not difficult to score good marks if you are attentive.
