Shivdan Singh Institute of Technology and Management Aligarh Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

At the undergraduate level, SSITM offers four-year B.Tech and B.Pharm degree programs. B.Tech is offered under nine different specializations. The institute also gives admission in the second year of both of the courses.

For admission to first year of B.Tech and B.Pharm, candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates). Candidates interested in these coursess, must have to appear in UPSEE.

Key Points:

• For B.Tech lateral entry, three-year Diploma in relevant field and minimum 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in Mathematics (35% in SC / ST) are required to be eligible.
• 85% of the seats are filled by the University through UPSEE counselling depending on the rank obtained by the student.
• Remaining 15% seats (Management Quota) are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions as per AKTU guidelines.
• 5% marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria will be given for the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.

Apart from the B.Tech and B.Pharm, the institute also offers three other undergraduate courses focusing on the area of Education, Computer Applications and Management Studies, leading to B.Ed., BCA and BBA degree respectively. The annual intake for the BBA and BCA is 60 seats each whereas the number of seats available for the B.Ed. is 100 seats.

Candidates applying for the BBA, BCA and B.Ed. courses have to go through Counselling rounds conducted by the institute. However, they must have to pass in 10+2 level or equivalent examination in relevant subjects for BBA and BCA and have a graduate degree in any discipline for B.Ed. Admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.

At the postgraduate level, SSITM offers two-year M.Tech and M.Pharm to the aspiring candidates. M.Tech is offered under five different specializations whereas M.Pharm is provided with three specializations. The annual intake capacity for the M.Tech and M.Pharm courses is 18 seats for each specializations.

To be considered eligible for M.Tech, candidates must have a B.E. /B.Tech degree in the relevant specialization and must have obtained at least 60% marks (50% marks in case of SC / ST). To apply for the M.Pharm programme, a candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy with minimum 60% marks (50% marks for SC / ST).

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will have to appear GATE to get admission in M.Tech. Admission to M.Pharm is done on the basis of merit in last qualifying examination. Preference will be given to the candidates holding a GPAT score.

SSITM offers two other postgraduate level courses focusing on the area of Business Administration and Computer Application. MBA is provided in five different branches of Management Studies. The total intake capacity for MBA is 120 seats whereas for MCA, the number of available seats is 60.

For MBA admission, a candidate must have passed minimum three-year Bachelor degree course from any recognized university and secured minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks. The relative merit for shall be decided based on aggregate of qualifying examination and valid UPSEE/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAT or any other National Level Exam.

MCA aspirants must have passed Bachelor degree course with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate and must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 or graduation. Selection will be based on UPSEE. The final merit list is prepared considering the marks obtained in the entrance examination as well as in the previous qualifying examination.
