Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees are paid every semester and, for the first year, overall tution and hostels fees included is 1,20,000 INR, while mess fees is excluded and costs less than 4,000 INR permonth, Tution fees are excluded for SC/ST students. Many Scholarships are available here like DST Inspire, State Level Scholarship, Shraman, etc.

IISER BHOPAL : A HOME FOR MANY

Fees yearly was Rs 102.600, no scholarship. Fees for the entire course is constant every, with 10,000 extra in first year as admission fees, and 5000 deposit which is refundable. It generally is not increasing, but is subject to change without any warning. Sc, St applicants dont have to pay the tuition fees. Hence they pay around 18,800 every year. Tuition fees - 36,700 User fees - 9,700 Hostel fees - 6,700 Mess fees not included. around 3500 monthly

After taking admission into an IISER, during the first round itself you have to pay an SAF(Seat Acceptance Fee) Amount, regardless of which IISER you have gotten alloted, to participate in further rounds of counselling. You can also freeze within the first round if you already have gotten the IISER and course you had wished for. It is 35000 for GEN/EWS/OBC and 17500 for SC/ST. My experience at IISER Bhopal

Semester fee is Rs 36700, Hostel fee is Rs 6700 per sem, and User charges/other fee is 9700 per sem, mess charges are around Rs 3500 per month. For first semester extra charges of rs 15000 are taken as caution money. So total yearly fee is 1,06,200 + mess charges. There are no fee waivers for SC/ST/OBC candidates, although scholarships are given on various criterias. All the Bachlors courses have similar fee structure. Inspire scholarship is provided to non droppers, on the basis of merit Realiance scholarship is also provided to candidates on the basis of merit and income.
