Shankarrao Chavan Law College was established in the years 1967 by the former Home Minister of India, the Late Shri Shankarrao Chavan. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Shankarrao Chavan Law College offers a five-year BA LLB course, a three-year LLB course, a postgraduate LLM course and Diploma program in six specializations.

Candidates with passing marks in 10+2 from a recognized H.S board or university are eligible to apply for BA LLB.
Candidates with graduation degree (any stream) can apply for the LLB program.
LLM applicants must obtain BA LLB or LLB degrees from a recognized university in order to be eligible.
Candidates with a graduate degree in any stream can apply for the Diploma courses offered by the college.
Candidates have to appear for MAH CET for law to get admission to BA LLB and LLB courses.
Students who clear the CET must attend the counselling process conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
LLM and Diploma applicants are admitted on the basis of academic merit and other guidelines specified by Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Candidate can apply for admission through online mode.

Shankarrao Chavan Law College BA LLB and LLB Admission 2024

SCLC offers undergraduate courses in law, namely five-year BA LLB degree course and a three-year LLB degree course. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent can apply for the BA LLB program. Candidates who have passed in graduation from any stream can apply for LLB program. NRIs and foreign students with valid pass certificates from any recognized university in their country are also eligible.

Applicants need to appear for the MAH-CET for law entrance examination and participate in the CAP counselling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. On the basis of a candidate’s academic merit and entrance test score, merit list is drawn.

Shankarrao Chavan Law College Diploma and LLM Admission 2024

SCLC offers one-year Diploma programs in Taxation Law (D.T.L), Labour Laws and Labour Welfare (D. LL and LW), Consumer Protection Laws (D.C.P.L), Cyber Laws (D.C.L), Human Rights Laws (D.H.R.L) and Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence (CCF and MJ). The college also offers two-year LLM course to the candidates.

The minimum eligibility for LLM is passed in BA LLB or LLB program from a recognized university. For Diploma course, the candidate must pass a Graduate degree from a recognized board/university.

Admission to both Diploma and LLM course is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Shankarrao Chavan Law College Application Process 2024

Visit the official website of the college to fill the form online.
To register, candidates must enter a valid email id, mobile number and upload a soft copy of passport size photograph.
Once the registration is complete, candidates need to log in and fill-up the application form along with personal details.
After filling the form, submit the form.
Pay the application fees via Demand Draft in favour of ‘MMM’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College’ payable at Pune.

Review of not much renowned but good law college

Admission:

I also applied to GLC and ILS the major reason that i was not able to make to that colleges was reservation. 80% of the seats of colleges under MHCET are reserved for Maharashtra students and i was an outside Maharashtra student. I had decent marks in MHCET exams around 103, but couldn't make it to GLC / ILS because of reservation. Though this college is also good after ILS in pune and under MHCET it's the second college who has got NAAC A and faculty is better than DES Navalmal Firodia.

An Honest Review of MMMs SCLC.

Admission:

Eligibility was the the clearing if MHT LLB entrance exam with a good score. Once you put preferences of college, an allotment list is published, where you get to know which college has been allotted to you. After the allocation, you have to visit the college physically with all the original documents, staff there will guide you through the whole process. In a sem , there are presentations, vivas, internal exams and finals, all have specific marks that we've to score and the difficulty level is medium.

The college experience till date is excellent.

Admission:

Overall I will rate the college as good. And I will rate it on the scale of 10 as 7.5 We just hope for a little bigger study room/ reading Hall & a ll better infrastructure. Other everything is satisfactory. Excellent in many ways, its location, its campus & many other things.
