Jalpaiguri Law College offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) and Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) Honours at the undergraduate level. Jalpaiguri Law College BA LLB Eligibility Criteria

BA LLB:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination from a recognised board.
For B.A. L.L.B. candidates should have obtained 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examinations (Total marks of best of five subjects excluding EVS including English should be taken into account to calculate the percentage of marks).
SC & ST category and aspiring to pursue B.A. L.L.B. are eligible to apply if they have secured at least 40% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examinations.

BA LLB (Hons):

For candidates aspiring to pursue B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) should have obtained 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examinations (Total marks of best of five subjects excluding EVS including English should be taken into account to calculate the percentage of marks).
For candidates belonging to SC & ST category and aspiring to pursue B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) are eligible to apply if they have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examinations.
The candidate shall not be above 20 years of age on the date of admission.
Two years age relaxation is available for SC/ST candidates.

The selection of the candidates for admission to BA LLB and BA LLB(Hons.) undergraduate programmes will be made on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the 10+2 examination.
The merit list of candidates will be published online on the college website as per the published admission schedule.

Jalpaiguri law college is the best law college in West Bengal

Admission:

Would be advocate the eligibility of this course.I found the application from in online mode and then published the merit list and then paid money.In this process all the students are join the college in merit basic.

The faculty are very friendly and helpful. They provide notes and suggestions
We have our youth parliament and there happens moot court competitions and debate competition. So students can engage into extra curricular activities

Dislikes

We have less infrastructure facilities. The class are not digital
We do not have any campus, it's a small college building without any playground and campus

Admission:

One can apply to course if he/she has secured 60% in 12th. Bt the cut off percentage can very year to year. The application form can be filled through the official website of the college. Reservation benefits are available to students. The exams are taken twice in a year and they are not so difficult one can secure good marks if he had studied properly.

Honours law degree at Jalpaiguri!

Admission:

In order to be eligible for this course, you need to have passed your 10+2 with at least 55% marks. This is an honors class so you need to be a little stronger with your marks before you apply for this course. There is an exam you need to write and after that, you will be accepted into the course.

The admission is based on an entrance test. I filled up the application form which was available both online and offline within the campus. Then I gave the entrance exam and luckily I got selected.
