Cooch Behar College Faculty

The faculty at the college is highly qualified, experienced, and supportive, with each member having at least 5 years of experience. Notably, the Economics faculty holds a PhD, and the coordinator possesses dual degrees of M.Com and M.B.A. The political science and BBA faculties are well-qualified, having completed post-graduation from renowned institutions.

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:10, and for approximately 240 students, there are 4 main faculty members, supplemented by guest lecturers to manage the workload effectively. Faculty members are approachable, provide both theoretical and practical knowledge, and encourage student participation and development through regular assessments, case studies, and interactive teaching methods.

Despite some challenges with faculty shortages, the college administration ensures effective distribution of classes and resources. Chemistry Department faculty, in particular, are highlighted as exceptionally supportive and friendly.
