Cooch Behar College is a reputed educational institute located in Cooch Behar district, West Bengal. The institute was established on November 16, 1970 at the time of Bangladesh War with a campus area of 3.74 acres. The College is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, and is affiliated to the University of North Bengal.
Cooch Behar College offers undergraduate level degree programs (both General and Honors courses) in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management. Cooch Behar College offers undergraduate level honors degree programs in the fields of arts, science, commerce and management with various specializations.
- The specializations under BA Honors include Geography, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, History, Pol. Science, Philosophy and Economics.
- B.Sc. Honors program is offered in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the UG Honors degree programs is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Candidates are further required to score at least 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam. Selection is made on the basis of 10+2 marks and e-Counselling conducted on the institute-level.

- The application fee for Honors subjects is Rs.40+Rs.20 (bank charge).
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories must secure at least 45% aggregate marks and 60% marks in the subject applied for in the last qualifying exam.
- A candidate shall have maximum three consecutive chances to clear each Part of the Under Graduate Examination, but shall have maximum overall seven consecutive chances to clear all Part-I, Part-II and Part-III Examinations taken together.

Students seeking admission to any of the programs offered by Cooch Behar College are admitted through on line system (E-Counselling mode) for the current academic session. The following steps are to be followed for applying to any course and for admission purpose.
- Aspiring candidates may apply online by visiting the institute website coochbeharcollege.org.in.
- Before filling the online application form, candidates are required to choose the course type (i.e. Honors/ General/ BBA) before proceeding further.
- All requisite particulars in the application form must be filled correctly and in full.
- Candidates wishing to apply for Geography, P.E. and Education under BA (Hons. & General) must click on the checkbox "I want to apply for Geography/Physical Education/Education general course."
- Upon completion, the applicant will receive a username and password through their registered mobile number.
- The candidate will be redirected to a payment page after submitting the duly filled application form.
- For online payment of fees, bank cards (credit/ debit) or net-banking may be used. Offline payment will require payment through challan generated by an Allahabad Bank branch.
