NIPS Hotel Management Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placement. Haven't gone for any for the time being but i had gone for casual trainings in ITC,JW MARRIOTT,TAJ,HAYATT,FAIRFIELD,LEMON TREE,NOVOTEL,RTC Yes i have plans for me as i will go to U S.for my IET and then I'll make an impression over there so that i can get a job in U.S.

From the second year which is after the 2nd semester students are eligible to go for an internship not only in India but outside also like America, France, Dubai, etc. From there they will learn practically hospitality etiquette.

I am interested in pursuing my career in the hospitality industry as I enjoy working with people. This course provides opportunities to learn about various aspects of the industry. including hotel operations, food and beverage management, customer service, marketing, retail, facility, and event management. We have well-educated faculty members with industrial experience, who help us with personality development, soft skills, theory and practical classes. Moreover experienced guest faculties are also invited. We have a semester every 6 months, which was fairly easy to pass with a few hours of regular study.

After 4th semester we are eligible for campus placement. The company from all around India come to our college to conduct college placement( Oberoi, Hayat, ITC, Taj)100 per cent of out seniors got placements previously and our college is very reputed in this regard

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. The name of the companies visited are The Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt, JW Marriot , ITC etc . The highest package a company offers you is 27000and the lowest package is 16000 . The percentage of students getting placements is 100%. My plans after getting a degree is to become the best sommelier .

The course is good and everyone is good and the facilities are good my course is BSC HHA. The faculty are well trained by industries and have done masters. The teaching method was easy to make us understand the basic concept

Our college and our faculty members are very good but the fee of our course is too high

I always wanted to be a chef and one of my relative is a alumni of this institute so he referred me. As he said he got to learn a lot of things which was helpful for his future career in the hospitality industry.
