All about NIFT

Likes

The hostels are situated within the campus which benefits the students as they can connect with the other students.
The mess and the canteen provide us good and tasty food. The labs and classrooms are top-notch.

Dislikes

The campus happens to be 25 kilometers from the Jodhpur city so the campus to city travel is that of 40 - 45 minutes.

Fees and Financial Aid:

NIFT provides various scholarships for those in need and also on merit basis. The scholarships go as high as 100 percent. The campus also provides campus employments where companies come to the campus and hire students.

Likes

The college campus is really neat and clean.
A lot of social activities are done which are really good for the personal growth of the students.

Dislikes

If you get selected by one company in placements you are not allowed to sit for another brand.
There are a lot of assignments which helps but also feels hectic for the students.

The fees gets updated on yearly basis according to the present situation. There are also some scholarship programs like Saarthak.. You can search the details for the same on the Official NIFT portal. Students get scholarship according to the authenticity of their financial papers and background checks.

The fee structure is you have to pay semester wise. It is feasible. About 60-70k per semester. For NRI students they have to pay for the entire year. which is 5-7lacs per year. Students have to pay for their own material which is the only added cost of the course

The college fees ranges from 1 lac rupee to 3 lac rupees depending on which course you sign up for. The fees are a bit expensive but with the amount of exposure you get that would be a given. There are scholarships you can ask in the reception.

Fees for 1 semester ranges from ?1,10,000- ?1,50,000, so fees for a year comes under ?2,80,000. It is relatively lesser compared to other colleges offering the same plethora of courses. Considering the infrastructure, facilities, faculty, it is a good deal.
