From 5th year onwards students are eligible for campus placements .number of dairy based companies like Karnataka Co-Operative Milk Producers Federation Ltd(Nandini),Dairy Classic ICE Creams Pvt Ltd,Nakoda Dairy Pvt Ltd, etc... And other poultry based companies also provide placement opportunities for the students .package for the eligible candidates differ from the range of 50000 to 1lakh for fresh candidates without any experience . Percentage of students getting into placement is appreciable . Government veterinary officer job is most preferred.A government veterinary doctor can earn upto Rs. 50000 to 1 lakhs per month.based on the cgpa of the students who are all passed out top ranked students gets into the placements rest can try for the private sector jobs which also offers better package . Our college records 80% placement record every year.Top recruiters that came during my batch were CPDO,Mysore zoo, bannerghatta biological park, CCBF, SLBTC etc. Most of the students took to government sector, others went for teaching in the relevant subject in a private university.The salary offered ranges from 40,000 to 1.5 L per month. Internships were also offered to students in NGOs, hospitals and public heath care sector. The average stipend for the same was fixed at 14,000 per month.

Not much Placements are provided by the college.Students look for jobs themselves and mostly we get government jobs.Internship are provided where we learn more. It is of 6 months. There is not much earning in it but we gain little experience.

The support for placements are not much good in the college you have to find jobs by yourself but there is 6 months internship where we get Rs11000 to Rs 15000 per month. So we get very much practical knowledge from that internship and mostly student look forward for government jobs.

Placement Experience:

The roles which were offered by companies such as ISCOMN, Nutricare life, Fuzen pharmaceuticals etc were veterinary technicians, animal care workers, pharmacy research manager, veterinary consultant etc. The highest package offered was 11 lpa and the average was 4 lpa. Students were also given internships in hospitals so that they get more exposure about this industry. I don't really remember the stipend that was offered.
